This event is open to everyone – past, present and future parents and grandparents and carers and families – come along and support the local playgroup.  It provides an excellent and essential service in our community.

Call in any time between 10.30am and 1.30pm for a cuppa coffee/tay and some tasty home bakes (far better and tastier than anything you’d buy in a supermarket).

NB: Any contributions of homemade / baked goods for the event also greatly appreciated.

For further details, contact any Peter Pan staff member on: 028.89561.111.

Barbecue in Springhill Golf Club on Sunday evening

Trillick’s Comhaltas branch is holding a fundraising barbecue / music session in Springhill Golf Club on this Sunday evening 7 September.  The barbecue starts at 6pm.  Voluntary donations in lieu of cover charge at your discretion on the night.  The club, which was started recently, is going from strength to strength and currently has over 100 members, some of whom are pictured below:

Photos from the Festival

The recently-concluded annual Festival was a resounding success and an enjoyable addition to the community life of the Trillick area.  When an event runs as smoothly as this one, it’s easy to underestimate the sheer amount of hard work that is involved.  However, events on this scale don’t just ‘happen’ – they are the product of days and weeks of hard work behind the scenes – many thanks to all concerned.

The results for the 5k and 10k road runs are set out in detail on the Trillick GAC site, here.

Here are a couple of photos from the various events (if you have any other good photos suitable for sharing, perhaps you could post them on your usual photo sharing site or on Facebook and send / tweet us a link – thanks):
