Mind that bicycle

Trillick Cycling Club is holding an information / registration night this Friday at 9pm in The Central Bar. If you’re keen to take up / get back into cycling, whether for fun, fitness or competition, do come along and find out more. The club is for everyone and you can participate at whatever level suits you, from beginner/returner to experienced. Runs are organised so that people of similar experience are grouped together. An experienced cyclist stays with each group and obviously you can switch between groups as you wish. Cycling is a great low-impact exercise and the club is an ideal way to find out about what equipment you do (and don’t) need, tips about nutrition and training; and, with todays’ traffic, provides an opportunity to take part in managed events in safety. The club is fully accredited and insured. Remember, if you’re coming along by bike, make sure you’ve a light(!) – see you there.

Export success in Trillick

Thanks to the internet, you can do business anywhere.   One Trillick business that thinks big and supplies its customers near and far is Trillick Auto Parts Centre.  The business, represented below by Victoria McKee, Stephen McKee, Gemma Keenan and Kevin Doyle, were ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Growth Through Export’ category at the recent Omagh Business Awards 2015:

Bake Sale / Coffee Morning next Saturday 24th

If you can, drop in any buy something home-baked – all proceeds to the Peter Pan Playgroup. The playgroup provides a high-quality start in life for all little ones in the community and as with everything these days, official funding has been cut back / is in short supply.

See you there.
